Determine Function

Saving Throw: 1d6 + MYS Rating vs. DV assigned by the GM
When encountering a man-thing or any unusual construction, may attempt to determine the function of the object or construction. If successful, the GM hints at the function in terms that an opossum might understand. Note that understanding an object’s function does not automatically explain how to use it. For example, on finding a dropped cellphone and succeeding in Determine Function, the GM would not identify it as a cellphone, but rather might say, “It is used so one creature can give a message to another.”
